Tips for Saving with sales Ads..... Don't be fooled!

10/$10 promotions
You do not have to buy 10 items to get the $1 price!  Check your sales add and see if it says must by 10 only buy the amount you will use.  Do not Clear the shelves because you can get it for a great price.  My rule is I buy for at least 3-6 months depending on the item shelf life.
Don't just use a coupon to use a coupon
Wait until the item is on sale.  Then try to stack the product with other offers ie rebates store coupons etc. When you are first starting to stockpile it may be hard to go shopping and not be able to match a product to a sale.  Once the stockpile starts to grow it will be easier and you will see your savings grow.
 One per Purchase
Does not mean one per day it just means one per the purchase that you are ringing up.  Do 10 orders if you have 10 products and 10 coupons that say 1 per purchase
Bigger is better
Check the price per unit to see which deal is better.  Shopping at BJ's, Sams Club or other whole stores does not always mean you will get the best value for your dollar, bigger is not always better.
Check the clearance and bargain bins
There have been many times that an item is on sale and I have found the same item in a bargain bin for a LOWER PRICE. Match that with a coupon and get a great deal!  Just remember to check the dates
